Transferable Warranty Terms and Conditions

H2O SPORTS MANUFACTURING, LLC (H2O) has a limited transferrable hull warranty. This insures to the purchaser that each hull is free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal care and use, for a period of ten (10) years from the original date of purchase. At our discretion, H2O agrees to repair or replace, to the purchaser, any boat(s) that is found to be defective during the applied warranty period based on a review by H2O.

 

Period of Warranty: 

 

10 Year Protection:

Hull and deck structure - hull/ deck, liners, stringers, transom, all deck and hull joints.

1 Year Protection:

Steering - helm, hoses, cables, hydraulic cylinders and steering wheel. Electrical - switches, wiring harness, LED lights / bow light (excluding bulbs), anchor light 12 V receptacles, duplex outlets, trim tabs, stereo, horn, windless, Macerator, live well, freshwater, bilge and wash down pumps, and float switches. Fuel Delivery - Fuel tank, fuel vent, fuel hoses, water separator (excluding filter), and fuel fills. Controls - Shift and throttle cables. Accessories - Ladder, windshield, rod holders, tackle boxes, gas shocks, anchor chute, cleats, T -top, hardtop, outriggers, thru -hulls, rub rail, bow/ stern eyes. Upholstery/ Canvas - Vinyl, stitching, workmanship

Obtaining Repairs Under Warranty

During the period of the warranty, H2O or its authorized representatives will, free of charge, repair or replace at its sole discretion, any part adjudged defective by H2O due to faulty workmanship or material from the factory provided the original owner returns the boat, with transportation prepaid to authorized H2O dealer or, if necessary to the H2O factory or any other authorized place designated by H2O. Should H2O elect to replace the entire boat or any part thereof, i.e. deck or hull, the replacement boat shall be subject to the remaining duration and condition s of this warranty and not subject to an extended or new warranty unless otherwise provided for by both parties in writing. The liability of H2O shall in no event will exceed the actual cash value of the covered item. The boat owner will be responsible for all transportation, haul outs, loss of time, inconvenience, travel expense, loss of use, launch, towing, storage, and other expenses incurred in returning the boat for warranty service. All parts replaced under warranty shall become the property of H2O Sports Manufacturing, LLC. H2O reserves the right to improve its product through changes in design or material without obligation to incorporate such changes on boats built prior to the implementation of respected change(s). *** WARRANTY WILL BE NULL AND VOID UNLESS THE BOAT IS REGISTERED ONLINE AT WWW.H2OMFG.COM AND THE ORIGINAL SIGNED COPY OF THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT IS RECEIVED BY H2O SPORTS MANUFACTURING, LLC. WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE POINT OF SALE***

Warranty Services / Customer Responsibilities

In order to receive warranty service, the consumer must have registered the boat at www.h2omfg.com within 30 days of sale, and the purchaser must take his/her boat to an authorized H2O dealer. Depending on the nature of the claim, H2O may require the boat be returned to the factory at 301 Martin Marietta Dr., Americus, Ga., 31719. in which case all transportation, haul -out, and/or loading charges shall be prepaid and the sole responsibility of the purchaser. H2O may reimburse up to one half of such transportation charges to the original purchaser upon the discovery of a valid and applicable warranty claim that is a direct result of improper manufacturing processes on the part of H2O or one of our suppliers. The original purchaser must remove and reinstall at his/her expense, all outboard engines, (if directly related to damage in question), as well as any and all personal effects and electronic equipment. The decision to repair, replace or make reimbursement for a particular boat or part shall be at the discretion of H2O. On -line registration, a bill of sale, or proof -of -purchase demonstrating individual in question as the purchaser, along with proof of the customer ’s identity, is required before warranty service can be rendered.

 

Warranty Transferability

This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, implied or expressed. H2O accepts no responsibility for any representations, acts, or omissions of its dealers relating to the preparation and/or sale of H2O products to original consumer. To complete the transfer the original owner or purchaser must download a copy of the warranty transfer form from www.h2omfg.com and mail it to H2O within 10 days of the sale of his/her boat to the new owner. A notarized bill of sale and a $200 administration fee payable to H2O must also be included with the notification of customer ’s intent to re -sell his/her boat.

Exclusions From Warranty

Any H2O boat which has been powered or loaded in excess of the manufacturer ’s maximum horsepower or capacity recommendations. The maximum horsepower and capacity recommendation are shown on the certification plate affixed to every boat.

Any H2O boat used in or for racing (of any type, organized or not), commercial fishing, chartering or other commercial use.

Any H2O boat which has been subject to misuse, neglect, or structural alterations.

Gelcoat cracking, crazing, bubbling, or blistering.

Excessive wear or rusting due to unprotected and/or overexposure to the sun and elements.

 

Any fuses, bulbs, switches or the failure of any electrical component due to corrosion or failure to use correct wattage.

 Any boat that has been deemed to have been misused, neglected or re -powered by anyone other than the original purchaser.

 Any H2O boat that has been used on a trailer that does not adequately support the hull or any trailer that may be considered undersized, including any and all roller type trailers.

 

Any H2O boat with a jack plate installed by anyone other than H2O.

 

Power coated parts must be maintained by the owner. If powder coated parts chip or flake then owner must repair to prevent oxidation; Please contact your dealer for guidance on this repair.

 

Any part or component not manufactured directly by H2O after the one year of this warranty policy, (one calendar year from the original date of purchase), will only have that particular manufacturer ’s warranty available

 

Any additional options or accessories not installed by H2O
